Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about topics, Today, ratings, and keeping review steady through a busy school week. For a full walkthrough, see Help.
What is Florow for?
Florow helps students answer one question each day: what should I review right now? You add the topics you are learning, and Florow builds a rolling plan of short sessions instead of leaving everything to memory or last-minute cramming.
Is Florow a flashcard app?
No. Florow does not replace flashcards, class notes, videos, or textbooks. It helps you schedule review around the material you already use, so you know what deserves attention today.
Who is Florow built for?
Florow is designed for high school students juggling multiple subjects, plus parents who want a clearer picture of upcoming review load. Anyone who wants a simple daily plan—not a full productivity system—can start with the free tier.
How do I get started?
Sign up, open the dashboard, and add your first topic with a subject, title, and session length. Florow schedules follow-up reviews from there. Your Today view becomes the home screen for what is due now.
What does the Today view show?
Today lists the review sessions due on the current day, how long they should take in total, and quick actions to start a session or log how it went. It is meant to be the place you open when you sit down to study.
What do Easy, Okay, and Hard mean?
After a review, you pick how it felt. Easy means the topic can wait longer before it comes back. Okay keeps the normal pace. Hard brings it back sooner so it does not slip away before you really know it.
What happens if I miss a day?
Florow reshapes upcoming sessions so you are not stuck with an impossible pile the next morning. You can also pause or delay a topic when the week gets crowded. The aim is a realistic routine, not a streak you are afraid to break.
How do test dates help?
When you add a test date to a topic, Florow can bring that material back more often as the exam gets closer—so review spreads across the days leading up to the test instead of living only in one cram block.
What is the difference between the calendar and Today?
Today is for doing the work right now. The calendar is for looking ahead—seeing which days look light or heavy before you commit to extra activities. Progress helps you notice whether review stayed steady over time.
What is included in paid plans?
Paid plans add room for more active topics and stronger planning visibility across the week. Free is enough to build the habit with a smaller set of subjects; Essential and Pro fit busier schedules and heavier exam prep. See Pricing for current limits.
Can parents use Florow too?
Yes. A parent account can sign in to see the same dashboard views—Today, calendar, and topics—so it is easier to understand what review is planned without standing over a student's shoulder every evening.
